Shop Local & Social at Sinag Sari-Sari!
Ever since the pandemic began, the Roots Collective has switched to supporting our social enterprise family completely online, from our digital store at https://www.rootscollective.ph to the video-call-based trainings in our Sibol Program. Except for the first Roots Weekend Market at La Bella Tagaytay last July, which lasted for only one day and was done in open air, the Roots Collective has conducted its trainings and retail and corporate sales exclusively online.
Now, with the Sinag Sari-Sari Store at TriNoma, we are slowly retesting the waters on a return to physical retail.

The Sinag Sari-Sari Store is a project of BPI Sinag, the social enterprise competition and community of BPI Foundation, Inc. and Bayan Academy, their strategic partner since 2018. Bona fide social enterprises are welcome to be a store merchant. Several of the social enterprises in the Roots Collective community have directly enlisted there, but under the Roots Collective, you can expect to see the likes of Wholly Grain, Hineleban Farms, Theo & Philo Artisan Chocolates , MAYANI, Happy Helpers, and BalaiKamay.

The store is a kiosk on the 2nd floor of the mall, between Starbucks and Olympic Village, and joins other similarly-themed popups. In partnership with JunkNot Eco Creatives, a social enterprise that upcycles plastic waste into furniture, the store's star feature is Kara the carabao, a red beast that is made of recycled papers. All the shelves are made from recycled Tetra Pak and wood.

It may be a blessing in disguise that the Sinag: Sari-Sari Social Enterprise Store's opening was pushed back by one and a half months - from its original date of September 1, 2021, it opened its doors on October 20, 2021. As it will run for three months, it will be up the entire holiday season - so you can get your gifts that keep on giving there!

The Sinag Sari-Sari Store is a kiosk located on the 2nd floor of TriNoma, between Starbucks and Olympic Village. It is open every day in accordance with mall hours, and will run until January 19, 2022.
