The Roots Collective is a Filipino ecosystem of entrepreneurs engaged in enabling inclusive entrepreneurship and growing them towards market leadership. We serve as a one-stop shop for social, grassroots, and creative brands to bridge them to the mainstream market.
We foster a conducive environment for local enterprises and rural communities to flourish through capacity-building and collaboration opportunities for innovation on the one hand; and creative and omni-channel marketing and distribution, retail and corporate, on the other.
As a social enterprise, we must go beyond simply following statutory and regulatory requirements, and incorporate socio-environmental justice into our business decisions. Thus, while we aim for ever-improving business excellence by ensuring transparency and honesty and by adopting marketing and retail industry standards and best practices, we also aim for ever-growing positive social and environmental impact with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as our guiding light, in particular SDGs 8, 9, and 12.
